Burial in Thailand

Whilst cremation is quite common in Thailand, many of our clients wished to be buried, either here in Thailand or back in their home country. For the latter, we can arrange to have the body sent back to the UK, US, Australia, and many other countries. As far as burial in Thailand goes, this can also be arranged. Please note that the infrastructure for burial in Thailand is not as developed as it is for cremations in Thailand, so the total time to arrange may take a few extra days. However, if your relative or friend wanted to be buried in Thailand after he or she died, please contact Thailand Family Law for details.

In order to provide some assistance during this stressful time, we have provided a FAQ below to help answer some questions we get each week.

A: Yes, you can be buried in Thailand after you die.

Q: My uncle just passed away, and in his last will and testament, he wanted to be buried in Thailand. Can you help with this?
